IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS

Please arrive 5 minutes before start time of session and make sure staff are aware that you or your child are present present. Please make sure you or your young adult brings a water bottle, suitable clothing and footwear to play sport in and wears sunscreen. We also recommend a light snack to eat afterwards such as a piece of fruit. If you require a towel to be seated on or for after training please also bring this with you.

Registrations for our programs are limited to 25 participants for each group and will cover, insurance, registration, field hire, admin and a training shirt. Dates for each session are advised but please be aware that these may change due to unforeseen circumstances, in this case you will be notified as soon as possible.

Approximately 1 weeks commencing week one of April 2025

2025 will see Connect Rugby League as having four community partners, the NRL Dolphins, Kawana Dolphins, Caboolture Snakes, and Noosa Pirates.

Training will now be offered in conjunction with these clubs to build on community access, support from our local community and a sense of belonging. What this means is that we will be offering one training session a week through all teams, with one training session per week. The support of these amazing local teams will also build understanding, awareness and inclusive practices and give us the opportunity to play games throughout the year outside any organised through our local NRL teams. As per current recommendations from the QRL these games will remain as being played as NRL tag. A huge thank you to the NRL Dolphins, Noosa Pirates, Kawana Dolphins and Caboolture Snakes for their support.

Please note that registration includes permission for these clubs to use images of our teams for their social and other media in line with their current club practices.

Final details will be confirmed prior to season kick off!!

  • 10 weeks training

  • Costings for matches, fields and admin
  • Basic style jerseys from local clubs
  • Guest coaches to support physical and mental health
  • Minimum of one clinic with current or previous NRL player
  • Interclub matches supported by Queensland Rugby League Sunshine Coast Office (minimum players required)
  • End of year celebration

Please advise of which club jersey you wish to purchase but understand teams will need to be even when playing on game days and you, you child or client may be asked to play for either team.

If training is cancelled due to unforeseen events we will endeavour to reschedule on another date as per instruction from the club involved.

N.B. Program needs a minimum of 5 players to go ahead

Programs begins first week of April 2025 ( according to your clubs training days) You will be notified.

Please note:

Due to field availability rescheduling may not be possible.

Each club will make the final decision on training in the event of bad weather. This decision will be in accordance with QRL and/or NRL advice and advice from the club in affected. This decision is not negotiable and due to player safety.

REGISTRATION FEES MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO ANY TRAINING AND/OR GAMES TO BE COVERED BY INSURANCE.

This year we may be Filming a documentary / promotional video throughout the season.

Please advise us in writing via email if you / your child / your client does not wish or cannot participate.
